River levels are rising at the Clomoney Way river gauge as a result of rapid snowmelt. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible. We expect flooding to affect Properties along Stroud Road, Bristol Road, the A430, New Street, Brook Street and the Lampreys Gloucester. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. This message will be updated by 11:00am on Tuesday 07/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
