Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels have risen in the last few hours on the River Evenlode and Glyme in the Evenlode area, possibly as a result of a blockage in the watercourse. Therefore, flooding of low-lying roads and farmland is possible tonight 14/06/19. Flooding of properties is not forecast at this point. No further rainfall is forecast tonight and there will be only light showers tomorrow morning. We expect river levels to remain high until any potential blockages are cleared tomorrow. There is rain forecast for late tonight and the early hours of tomorrow morning (30/12/2017) this should then clear away until the evening. River levels are expected to slightly increase tomorrow in reaction to the overnight rain therefore flooding of low laying land and roads is still possible especially in the Cassington area. Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels on the Rivers Evenlode and Glyme remain high in the Cassington and Woodstock areas. There is rain forecast for late tonight and the early hours of tomorrow morning (30/12/2018) this should then clear away until the evening. River levels are expected to slightly increase tomorrow in reaction to the overnight rain therefore flooding of low laying land and roads is still possible especially in the Cassington area. Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels on the Rivers Evenlode and Glyme are declining today although remain high in the Shipton area. There has been heavy rain early this morning (29/12/2017) which might be followed by some lighter showers through the morning, we will see a dryer afternoon but there is more rain forecast this evening. River levels are expected to increase today in reaction to the heavy rain therefore flooding of low laying land and roads is still possible especially in the Shipton area. There is fast moving heavy rain showers forecast to be moving across the area tomorrow morning followed by a drier afternoon. Although levels are falling, they are expected to increase tomorrow in reaction to the heavy rain showers therefore flooding of low lying land and roads is still possible. Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels on the River Evenlode have continued rising during last night especially in the Shipton area. Levels are expected to stop rising during the day today (28/12/2017) and begin to decline. There is no rain forecast today but we will see some fast moving heavy showers Friday morning. There is no more rainfall forecast for the next 24 hour period. Flooding of low lying land and roads is no longer expected to although there will still be standing water in the fields close to the river.
