We believe there is a possibility of flooding for The Shallows and Mead Lane, Saltford. Flooding is also forecast to affect the Riverside Cottages area near Hanham and properties in Swineford and Keynsham if the river continues to rise. The River Avon is rising and expected to peak tomorrow at approximately 4am on the 17/02/20. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and have been clearing weed screens. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and can owners with property flood resilience equipment install it now.
