Times are local and refer to the high water time at Avonmouth, however conditions may apply one to two hours either side of the high tide. There is a possibility of flooding for the tidal River Avon from Sea Mills to Conham, and between the Avonmouth Bridge and Shirehamption Park, including Pill and Shirehampton. Our operation teams are closing flood gates in the Pill and Shirehampton area. Be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads. Please note all tide times are in local time and are using the 24 hour clock and refer to the high water time at Avonmouth. We are expecting to remove this tidal alert on Sunday the 22 September as tidal levels will start reducing below the tidal flood alert threshold level.
