River Quaggy
River levels have risen as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property and roads is possible between 5.30pm and 8pm today, 16/02/20. Areas at risk include properties around Meadow Lane and between Westhorne Avenue and Eltham Palace Road. Flood water could be fast flowing, and therefore pose a risk to life.
No further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing trash screens.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water.
