Hamble Estuary, Southampton Water
Friday morning's tide at 11:54 on 18/02/2022 and 14:08 on 18/02/2022 is higher than normal due to Storm Eunice, which brings Severe Gale Force 9 South Westerly winds. The weather increases tide table values by 0.84 m. The total forecast tide is 5.41 metres Chart Datum (2.67 mAOD) at Southampton. For 1 hour either side of high water, a small number of properties may experience flooding in Hamble around The Quay and Rope Walk (near the main slipway) and at Shore Road, Warsash. Shore Road Car Park, the boat yards and Marinas at Bursledon and Swanwick will also experience flood impacts. After this tide‚ no further impacts are expected. We continue to monitor the forecast. If you have it, and live at the immediate water's edge, please install flood protection 1 hour before high tide. We will remove this message by 18:00 on 18/02/2022.

Monday morning's tide at 11:34 and 13:39 on 10/02/2020 is higher than normal due to Storm Ciara, which brings strong South Westerly Force 7 winds. The weather increases tide table values by 0.58 m. The total forecast tide is 5.38 metres Chart Datum (2.64 mAOD) at Southampton. For 1 hour either side of high water, the tide could come close to, or cause isolated property flooding at The Quay and Rope Walk (near the main slipway) and Hamble. Shore Road Car Park, boat yards and Marinas at Bursledon and Swanwick will also experience impacts. At 23:57 on 10/02/2020 the tide is lower, but minor impacts may still occur.
