River Meon
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday. Flooding is expected on 03 February 2026 due to continued rain. A modest amount of rain has fallen (10mm) today (03/02/2026), but this follows recent wet weather. River levels are expected to continue to rise, as further rainfall (up to 10mm) is forecast for the remainder of today (03/02/2026). Flooding will affect the Millennium Meadows, and commercial and industrial property downstream of the main A334 Fareham Road could flood. Rainfall is forecast to continue until 21:00 tonight (03/02/2026). Further rain is forecast on Thursday (05/02/2026) and Friday (06/02/2026). This will likely cause the river to respond again. We are checking rivers for blockages. Activate any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated by 6:00PM 04 February 2026.

The River Meon is high, but is now falling following Sunday's rain. Minor flood impacts will continue to affect the Millennium Meadows, and commercial and industrial property downstream of the main A334 Fareham Road. The high river could also affect access to property in Bridge Street. Only isolated showers are forecast Monday. The river should slowly fall a little further. However, another 20mm of rain is forecast Tuesday. Property flooding in Wickham could again be possible from 10:00 03/02/2026. We are checking rivers for blockages. Activate any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated by 15:00 03/02/2026.

High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Sunday.  Flooding is expected on 01 February 2026 from 22:00, as a lot of rain (26mm) fell on Sunday.  Flooding will affect the Millennium Meadows, and commercial and industrial property downstream of the main A334 Fareham Road could flood. The river will also affect access to property in Bridge Street. Rain is forecast to continue until early Monday morning. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Wickham by lunchtime on Monday 02/02/2026.  We are checking rivers for blockages .  Activate any flood protection products you may have .  This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 02 February 2026 or as the situation changes.

High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday.  Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 from 10:30, as a lot of rain (34mm) fell overnight.  Flooding will affect the Millennium Meadows, and commercial and industrial property downstream of the main A334. Fareham Road could flood. The river may also affect access to property in Bridge Street. There will be further showers throughout this morning. River levels will continue to rise this morning, and into the afternoon. Levels should start to fall during the afternoon.  We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .  Activate any flood protection products you may have .  This message will be updated by 6:00PM on 27 January 2026 or as the situation changes.

River Meon
The water level in the River Meon at Wickham is high and rising. In the last 6 hours, heavy and intense rain has fallen with 30mm recorded at Warnford. This is in addition to the prolonged rainfall which has been affecting the area over the last few months. Currently, the river will be out of bank flooding the Millennium Meadows. From 20:00 this evening, commercial and industrial property downstream of the main A334 Fareham Road could flood. Further rain is forecast over the next 6 hours. Upstream at West Meon the river is peaking now, which means that levels will continue to rise in Wickham and are expected to peak around 22:00 this evening (04/01/2024). Our operational staff will clear the river of any reported blockages. We continue to monitor the forecast. Please take appropriate action to protect property, installing flood protection if you have it. This Flood Warning will be updated by 13:00 on Friday 05/01/2024.
