River Meon
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday. Flooding is expected on 03 February 2026 due to continued rain. A modest amount of rain (10mm) has fallen today (03/02/2026), but this follows recent wet weather. River levels are expected to rise, as further rain (up to 10mm) is forecast today. Flooding will affect Titchfield Hill with very high water levels at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and at the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Water could flow across the main road and cause flooding to the front of Bridge Cottage. Rain is forecast to continue until 21:00 tonight (03/02/2026). Further rain is forecast on Thursday (05/02/2026) and Friday (06/02/2026). This will likely cause the river to respond again. We are checking rivers for blockages and managing water levels in the Titchfield Canal. Activate any flood protection products you may have. Particularly properties close to the river in Titchfield. River Meon
River levels in the River Meon at Titchfield remain high, although falling slowly. Flooding will continue to affect Titchfield Hill with very high water levels at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and at the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Water could be continuing to flow across the main road and cause flooding to the front of Bridge Cottage. The remainder of today is forecast to be dry. On Tuesday, 03/02/2026, up to 30mm of rainfall is forecast. If as much rain falls as forecast, river levels will rise in response to the rainfall during Tuesday. River levels will remain high for the next few days. Ensure any flood protection products you may have are in place. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages. Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers‚ sewage and chemicals. This message will be updated by 16:00 03/02/2026.

The River Meon is high, but is now falling following Sunday's rain. Minor flood impacts will continue to affect Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage, at the Tanneries Industrial Estate, and nearby fields, roads, and gardens. Only isolated showers are forecast Monday. The river should slowly fall a little further. However, another 20mm of rain is forecast Tuesday. Property flooding in Titchfield could again be possible from 12:00 03/02/2026. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Activate any flood protection products you may have. Particularly properties close to the river in Titchfield. River Meon
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Monday.  Flooding is expected on 02 February 2026 from 03:00, as a lot of rain (35mm) fell on 01/02/2026.  Flooding will affect Titchfield Hill with very high water levels at Titchfield Mill, Bridge Cottage and at the Tanneries Industrial Estate. Water could flow across the main road and cause flooding to the front of Bridge Cottage. Only a small amount of rain is forecast during Monday 02/02/2026. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Titchfield by 04:00 02/02/2026. However, further rain is forecast on Tuesday 03/02/2026 and this could cause river levels to rise once more.  We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .  Activate any flood protection products you may have . Particularly properties close to the river in Titchfield.  This message will be updated by 6:00PM on 02 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
