River Ems
The River Ems is high following weeks of rain, but are now slowly falling. Flooding will continue to affect fields, Brook Meadows, rural roads, gardens, and potentially properties near Lumley Mill and Victoria Terrace, Emsworth. Only isolated showers are forecast Thursday, Friday, and over the weekend. River levels should continue to slowly fall. However, river levels will remain higher than normal for weeks. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February, and therefore further periods of flood risk are possible. We are closely monitoring the situation operating our structure at Constant Springs, and clearing debris screens. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Westbourne and Emsworth, flooding may occur quickly. This message will be updated by 20:00 20/02/2026.

River Ems
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Wednesday.
Flooding is expected on 18 February 2026 from 20:00, as a lot of rain (35mm) is forecast today.
Flooding will affect fields, Brook Meadows, rural roads, gardens, and approach properties on North Street, River Street and affect those at and near the Wren Centre, Westbourne. Flooding will also affect properties near Lumley Mill and Victoria Terrace, Emsworth. Rain is forecast to continue until 04:00 on 19/02/2026. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Westbourne by 10:00 on 19/02/2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation , operating our structure at Constant Springs, and clearing debris screens.
