High river levels on Tuesday may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 03 February 2026 as more rain is forecast (up to 30mm). This is a similar amount of rain to Sunday (01/02/2026) and similar areas will be at risk. Flooding could affect roads at Riders Lane and Purbrook Way as rising water levels in the Hermitage Stream restricts the Riders Lane Stream from draining into it effectively. At New Road, the river may come close close to bankfull, with very deep, fast flowing water in the channel. River levels will remain low today, but will rise with an increased flood risk tomorrow. Rainfall and flood risk will continue until the early hours of Wednesday morning (04/02/2026). We are clearing blockages from debris screens in Havant. Flooding could affect roads at Riders Lane and Purbrook Way as rising water levels in the Hermitage Stream restricts the Riders Lane Stream from draining into it effectively. At New Road, the river will be coming close to bankfull, with very deep, fast flowing water in the channel. Rain is forecast to continue until 22:00 01/02/2026.
