River Wye
River levels have peaked at the Three Elms river gauge as a result of Storm Dennis. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is still possible today, 16/02/20. Flooding may be affecting affect areas in the Stonebow Road, Widemarsh Street, Newtown Road and Edgar Street parts of Hereford. We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid contact with flood water and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. River levels have risen at the Three Elms river gauge as a result of Storm Dennis. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible from 03:00 this morning, 16/02/20. Flooding may be affecting affect areas in the Stonebow Road, Widemarsh Street, Newtown Road and Edgar Street parts of Hereford.
We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please avoid contact with flood water and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
