Stevenage Brook
River levels are rising on the Stevenage Brook at Stevenage as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property is possible from 6pm this evening, Friday 18 June. Flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside gardens is possible.
Further light rainfall is forecast this evening. We expect river levels to remain high on Friday evening before reducing overnight.
We are monitoring the situation closely. Our incident response staff are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages.
