River levels are very high as a result of persistent heavy rainfall yesterday. Flooding of low lying properties, roads and farmland is possible at Lingfield and Haxted Mill during the early hours of Friday morning, 6 March. River levels are expected to peak between 2am and 6am between Lingfield and Edenbridge. River levels are not currently expected to cause flooding to property between Edenbridge and Penshurst, but residents of low lying properties should remain prepared. No further rainfall is forecast. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This Flood Warning message will be updated or removed by 12pm on Friday 6th March, or as the situation changes.

River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible between 6pm and 9pm this evening, Thursday 5th March. We believe there is a possibility of flooding to low lying properties at Lingfield and Haxted Mill. We do not expect flooding of property for the catchment between Edenbridge and Penshurst at this stage. We expect river levels to remain high overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation and our incident response staff are checking our defences and structures. Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 6am on Friday 6th March, or as the situation changes.

River levels remain high but are beginning to fall as a result heavy rainfall from Storm Dennis. There is a possibility of flooding for low-lying properties along the River Eden and Eden Brook around Haxted Mill, Edenbridge and Hever Road. River levels will remain until late this afternoon, Monday 17 February. Further scattered rainfall showers are possible across the region over the next 18 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers where it is safe to do so, and staff will be talking to communities in the area. This message will be updated by 3pm on Monday 17 February or sooner if the situation worsens.

River levels are continuing to rise as a result of heavy rainfall associated with Storm Dennis. There is a possibility of flooding for low-lying properties along the River Eden and Eden Brook around Haxted Mill, Edenbridge and Hever. River levels in Edenbridge are expected to be slightly higher than was seen on 20 December 2019. Property flooding is expected to continue through this evening as river levels continue to rise. Peak levels are expected overnight Sunday into Monday, 17 February. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff will be checking our structures and clearing blockages where it is safe to do so, and staff will be talking to communities in the area. This message will be updated by 1am on Monday, 17 February.

River levels are rising sharply as a result of heavy rainfall associated with Storm Dennis. There is now a possibility of flooding for low-lying properties along the River Eden and Eden Brook around Haxted Mill, Edenbridge and Hever. The river is expected to reach a height comparable to just before Christmas 2019. Flooding could commence from mid-morning on Sunday 16 February and endure through Sunday with the peak being reached overnight Sunday into Monday. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff will be checking our structures and clearing blockages where it is safe to do so. We will also have a visible presence in Edenbridge from mid morning. This message will be updated by 4pm on Sunday 16 February.

Levels in the Eden continue to fall throughout the entire catchment and despite a forecast of further rainfall overnight, we do not expect any further rise in river levels. Residents should remain vigilant and avoid flooded land or driving through flooded roads. We continue to monitor the situation. This flood warning remains in force. Rivers levels have subsided in Edenbridge but are still high in the River Eden at Penshurst. However, heavy pulses of rain overnight Friday into Saturday, 21/12/19 are driving levels up again in the area around Haxted Mill. We expect that levels will rise in Edenbridge around lunchtime today. Tonight will see sustained rain between 7pm Saturday and 10 am on the morning of Sunday, 22/12/19. Levels will rise overnight and through the morning in response. This message will be updated later today.

Levels at Edenbridge and Lingfield have now peaked and will continue to decline slowly overnight. However, levels at Hever, Chiddingstone and Penshurst will continue to rise and are unlikely to peak until daytime on Saturday 21 December. Property will remain at risk of flooding. Showers are forecast overnight. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update this message by 6am on Saturday 21 December or as the situation changes.

River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is expected in the early afternoon today, 20/12/19. It is not anticipated that flooding will be in the scale of that seen in 2013 but we are monitoring the situation and will update this text as necessary. At this stage flows are anticipated to be small enough to pass through the historic bridge in Edenbridge. We expect river levels to rise through the afternoon. River levels will not peak in Edenbridge until dusk today 20/12/19. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers. Please avoid contact with flood water and remain safe in the area of concern and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. This message will be updated around 17:00 today, 20 December 2019.

River levels have risen as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property and roads is expected to begin from 9:30 am until after 08:00 pm today, 20/12/19. This warning is primarily being issued for properties around Haxted Mill and Haxted Road. It is not anticipated that flooding will be in the scale of that seen in 2013 but we are monitoring the situation. At this stage flows are anticipated to be small enough to pass through the historic bridge in Edenbridge. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 3 hours. We expect river levels to rise around Haxted until 12 noon. River levels will not peak in Edenbridge until dusk today. Our incident response staff are are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers. This message will be updated around 2 pm today.
