No significant rainfall is forecast, and river levels are falling. We are closely monitoring the situation. Act on your flood plan if you have one. River levels are falling slowly after heavy rainfall over the last 36 hours. Flooding of roads and low-lying land is expected to continue throughout tonight 17/11/2022 and into tomorrow, 18/11/2022. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads around Forest Row, Ashurst, Hartfield, Penshurst and particularly on and around Balls Green and Ashurst. No further rainfall is forecast until Saturday 19 November. River levels remain high but are now starting to fall this evening on the River Medway between Forest Row and Ashurst. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and ready to operate structures, if required. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads around Forest Row, Ashurst, Hartfield, Penshurst and particularly on and around Balls Green and Ashurst. Rainfall is expected to clear this morning and weather conditions should then remain dry until Saturday 19 November. River levels remain very high but are now starting to fall this morning on the River Medway between Forest Row and Ashurst. We are closely monitoring the situation. Flooding of property, roads and low-lying land is expected between 9pm this evening, Wednesday 16 November, and 9am tomorrow, Thursday 17 November 2022. We expect flooding to affect properties on and around Beech Green Lane and Rogues Hill, near the river Medway at Hartfield. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours until 11pm on 16 November. We expect river levels to remain high overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from the River Medway.
