High river levels may continue to cause flooding today. Flooding is expected throughout today 16 January 2026. Locations most affected are around Beech Green Lane and Rogues Hill, near to the river. No significant rainfall is forecast, and river levels are falling. We are closely monitoring the situation. Act on your flood plan if you have one. Rising river levels have risen and are expected to cause flooding through the afternoon and evening following heavy rain overnight. Flooding is expected to continue until around 2am on 24/09/2024. Areas most at risk include properties on and around Beech Green Lane and Rogues Hill, near the river at Hartfield, Ashurst and Fordcombe. Weather conditions are improving with more heavy rain not expected until Wednesday. We are closely monitoring the situation and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. Areas most at risk include properties on and around Beech Green Lane and Rogues Hill, near the river at Hartfield, Ashurst and Fordcombe. Weather conditions are expected to improve this afternoon We are closely monitoring the situation and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. River levels are falling slowly after heavy rainfall over the last 36 hours. Flooding of roads and low-lying land is expected to continue throughout tonight 17/11/2022 and into tomorrow, 18/11/2022. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads around Forest Row, Ashurst, Hartfield, Penshurst and particularly on and around Balls Green and Ashurst. No further rainfall is forecast until Saturday 19 November. River levels remain high but are now starting to fall this evening on the River Medway between Forest Row and Ashurst. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and ready to operate structures, if required. This message will be updated by 11am on Friday18 November or as the situation changes.

We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads around Forest Row, Ashurst, Hartfield, Penshurst and particularly on and around Balls Green and Ashurst. Rainfall is expected to clear this morning and weather conditions should then remain dry until Saturday 19 November. River levels remain very high but are now starting to fall this morning on the River Medway between Forest Row and Ashurst. We are closely monitoring the situation. River levels are forecast to rise as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and low-lying land is expected between 9pm this evening, Wednesday 16 November, and 9am tomorrow, Thursday 17 November 2022. We expect flooding to affect properties on and around Beech Green Lane and Rogues Hill, near the river Medway at Hartfield. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours until 11pm on 16 November. We expect river levels to remain high overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from the River Medway.
