River Teise, River Medway
River levels are forecast to rise as a result of heavy rainfall. Flooding of property, roads and low lying land is expected from 2pm this afternoon, Sunday 27 December 2020. Levels are currently expected to be similar to those experienced in February and March of 2020. We expect river levels to remain high overnight into Monday 28 December 2020. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively monitoring the situation and are prepared to respond if required. Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued. This message will be updated by 8pm, this evening, Sunday 27 December, or as the situation changes.

River Teise, River Medway
River levels are very high and are continuing to rise on the River Teise following persistent heavy rainfall yesterday. We expect flooding of properties in rural areas around Paddock Wood and Laddingford to continue into Friday morning. Peak flood levels are expected between 6am and 10am on Friday morning, 6 March. We are closely monitoring the situation from our incident room and have had staff patrolling the area. Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety, and remain safe in the area of concern. Other areas may still experience impacts so please avoid contact with flood waters. Standing water may remain even if river levels fall during Friday. No further rainfall is forecast. This message will be updated by 11am tomorrow morning, Friday 6th March, or as the situation changes.

River levels are rising as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is immediately possible on Thursday, 5th March. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please deploy property flood resilience measures if you have them, move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and avoid contact with flood water and remain safe in ther area of concern.
