River levels have risen as a result of Storm Ciara. Consequently, flooding of property/roads and farmland is expected around 08:00 Sunday 09/02/20 to Properties on Lentworth Dr, Whinfell Dr, Beechwood Gdns, off Cranwell Ave, Hodder Place, Cork Rd, Canterbury Ave. Further rainfall is forecast through Sunday 09/02/20 morning . We expect river levels to remain high until midday on Sunday 09/02/20 We are closely monitoring the situation, our incident room is open. Our incident response staff are checking defences and clearing weed screens. This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes

Heavy rainfall is forecast to continue through this evening and into Thursday morning. Burrow Beck is rising in response to this recent heavy rainfall and has gone through the flood warning threshold. We will continue to monitor through the night and will update if the situation changes.
