River levels have risen at the Spinney Hill Park river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible between 19:30 today, 26/09/24, and 07:00 tomorrow, 27/09/24. Areas most at risk are North Evington and Spinney Hills in Leicester City. Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until 12:00 on 27/09/24. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and patrolling watercourses in the area.
