Rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at the Littlethorpe Gauge have risen rapidly due to the nature of the catchment. We are closely monitoring the situation. Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today.  Flooding is expected from the afternoon of 28 February 2026 .  Areas most at risk are Station Road, Riverside Way and Coventry Road in Littlethorpe, and Burrows Close in Narborough. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at the Littlethorpe Gauge are rising rapidly due to the nature of the catchment. Levels will remain high until approximately 10pm tonight, 28/02/2026.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Start acting on your flood plan if you have one .  This message will be updated by 10:00PM on 28 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
