River levels are rising at the Willington Cableway river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected to begin from 15:00 today, 27/10/2019, until tomorrow evening, 28/10/2019. Areas most at risk are Swarkestone, including Swarkestone Access Frontage, Stanton by Bridge, and Kings Newton. No further rainfall is forecast.
