River levels remain high at the Melton Park river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding to property remains. Areas most at risk are Asfordby, and Asfordby Valley, including Station Road. No significant rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. However, we expect river levels to remain high on Tuesday, 07/01/25 and over the next 24 hours with a risk of further rises due to water draining upstream catchment areas. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
