Storm Henk has brought heavy rain in the wider River Steeping catchment, which has fallen onto already saturated ground. This has caused the River Steeping to rise, and is forecast to remain high throughout today. Low lying areas near to the River Steeping are already flooded and we now expect properties to be affected. Properties on Church Lane in Croft are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council.
