River levels have risen at the Dovers Bridge river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible. Areas at risk are properties on or just off A59 in the vicinity of Hall Lane, Fouracres, Old Racecourse Road and surrounding area, Sefton Lane, Sefton Drive, Peel Farm and Maukin Farm off Green Lane. Brook Road to the north of Maricourt School, Station Road, Swan Walk and Willow Hey. We expect river levels to remain high overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are clearing weed screens. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated on 30/09/2019, or as the situation changes.

Areas at risk are properties on or just off A59 in the vicinity of Hall Lane, Fouracres, Old Racecourse Road and surrounding area, Sefton Lane, Sefton Drive, Peel Farm and Maukin Farm off Green Lane. Brook Road to the north of Maricourt School, Station Road, Swan Walk and Willow Hey.
We expect river levels to remain high until at least 23:00 on 29/09/19.
