This message has been issued because some flooding of homes and businesses is possible, in response to the rain that has fallen overnight and this morning, Sunday 18 February 2024. River levels are high in response to the rainfall. Areas most at risk are Wramplingham, Barford, the B1135 and parts of the railway line at Wymondham. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate. The forecast is for a generally improving weather picture through this evening, but with the chance of the odd shower pushing through the catchment. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation closely. We will update this message on Monday 19 February 2024, or if the situation changes.

This message has been issued because flooding of homes and businesses is likely today, Friday 20th October 2023. River levels are expected to continue to rise. Areas most at risk are Wramplingham, Barford, the B1135, and parts of the railway line at Wymondham. It is likely that we may need to issue more warning messages for a wider area, over the next few hours. The forecast is for further unsettled weather through the weekend. Take care on riverside footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and not expecting the situation to escalate.
