This message has been issued because of the ongoing impact and continued risk of flooding to homes and businesses, which will continue throughout today, Monday 13th November. Water levels remain high and may last for the next few days. This is due to a natural tide locking effect of the Broads river system combined with the rainfall that fell last night and this morning associated with Storm Debi, which has now cleared into the North Sea. Areas most at risk are Ridlington, Briggate, Honing, East Rushton, Dilham, Sutton, Catfield Common, Hickling, Potter Heigham, Ludham, Bastwick, Martham, Damgate and Billockby, and the A149 and A1062 roads. The weather forecast is for a dry afternoon, but with further showers through this evening, Monday 13th November, on a brisk westerly wind. Further showers are expected to continue through Tuesday and Wednesday. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are closely monitoring the situation. We will update this message on Tuesday 14th November, or as the situation changes.

High water levels are likely to last for the next few days. This is due to a natural tide locking effect of the Broads river system combined with the recent high rainfall. Areas most at risk are Ridlington, Briggate, Honing, East Rushton, Dilham, Sutton, Catfield Common, Hickling, Potter Heigham, Ludham, Bastwick, Martham, Damgate and Billockby, and the A149 and A1062 roads. The weather forecast is for a few showers today, Sunday 12th November. There is a weather front arriving in the early hours of Monday 13th November, which is forecast to bring widespread rain on Monday morning with some of this potentially being heavy. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are closely monitoring the situation. We will update this message on Monday 13th November 2023, or as the situation changes.

The weather forecast is for largely dry conditions today, Saturday 11th November, and also for the morning of Sunday 12th November. However, frontal rain is forecast to bring widespread rain through Sunday evening and overnight into Monday with some of this potentially being heavy. Flood water is dangerous.
