River levels are expected to remain high in response to the rainfall. Areas most at risk are low lying roads and riverside areas in Letheringsett, Little Thornage and Glandford. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate. The forecast is for further rain during today Sunday 18 February, with the potential for some heavy showers. The rain is expected to clear off the East coast by early afternoon, with only the odd light shower pushing through the catchment.
