This message has been issued because some minor flooding is expected to low lying land, roads and riverside areas throughout this evening and overnight into Saturday 26th September. River levels are likely to continue to rise in response to rainfall over the next couple of hours. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages for this area at this time. The forecast is for further rainfall this evening and overnight. Take care on riverside footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this message as necessary, and no later than 10am on Saturday 26th September.
