This message has been issued because there is the continued possibility of some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas during today, Friday 17th January and into tomorrow. The forecast is for some showers through today, Friday 17th January, but these are not expected to be heavy. The forecast is for drier conditions over the weekend. Take care on riverside footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and will update this message as necessary.

This message has been issued because there is a possibility of some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas through today, Thursday 16th January. River levels have continued to rise overnight in response to the heavy rain that fell over Tuesday night (14th January) and Wednesday morning (15th January). The forecast is for no further rainfall until late afternoon today, Thursday 16th January, but with further rain throughout the evening. Take care on riverside footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation closely and will update this message as necessary.

This message has been issued because there remains a possibility of some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside properties. River levels remain high but are beginning to drop in the area of Fakenham. The forecast for Monday 23rd December 2019, is to be largely dry. River levels are beginning to fall but some standing water will remain on roads and fields. Take care on riverside footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. This message has been issued because there is a possibility of some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas. We are currently seeing higher river levels than normal in the area of Fakenham. The forecast for Sunday 22 December 2019, is to be largely dry. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation and will update this message as necessary.
