This flood warning remains in force due to high river levels, following persistent heavy rainfall from Storm Christoph. The particular areas at risk are around Landing Lane in Riccall. Levels at Cawood are continuing to fall slowly, but will remain high throughout the weekend. Levels in York peaked on Friday 22/01/2021 and remain well above normal, but are expected to continue slowly falling over the weekend. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours but further unsettled weather is expected next week.
