River levels are rising rapidly on the River Nidd due to rainfall associated with Storm Babet. Areas most at risk include Properties on Station Road, Malthouse Lane and Crimple Meadows. Further rainfall is expected throughout the day 20/10/2023) Our incident room is open and we are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This Flood Warning remains in force because flooding is expected this evening, Sunday 20/02/2022 . River levels are falling on the River Crimple but remain high on the River Nidd. Areas most at risk include Properties on Station Road, Malthouse Lane and Crimple Meadows . Further heavy rainfall is forecast overnight. We will continue to monitor levels closely.
