The flood warning for the River Wharfe at Kirkby Wharfe remains in force. River levels continue to fall. The upper catchment is responding to recent rainfall and we will see levels rise again at Kirkby Wharfe later this evening 22/02/2022. These levels are not expected to be as high as those seen in recent days and flooding of properties is not currently expected. The weather is forecast to remain unsettled with showers and longer spells of rain over the next few days. We will continue to monitor the situation. We are monitoring river levels closely.
