This flood warning remains in force for the River Wharfe at Otley due to heavy rain associated with Storm Ciara. Widespread heavy rain on Sunday 09/02/20 caused rivers and watercourses to rise. The level on the River Wharfe at Otley is now peaking at around 1.9m and is forecast to begin falling overnight. We are monitoring the situation closely. We are issuing the flood warning for the River Wharfe at Otley due to heavy rain associated with Storm Ciara. Widespread heavy rain overnight on Saturday and continuing on Sunday morning, 09/02/2020, is causing rivers and watercourses to rise. The level on the River Wharfe at Otley is now 1.3m and is forecast to continue to rise, reaching 1.6m at about 13:00 hours this afternoon. The Wharfe at Otley is currently forecast to peak at 1.85m at about 17:00 hours this afternoon. We are monitoring the situation closely.
