Kettlewell Beck
This flood warning has been issued as river levels are forecast to rise as a result of heavy rainfall on Sunday. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and land in Kettlewell is expected to begin at around midnight tonight, Sunday 1st November. Areas most at risk are properties on Middle Lane, The Green and Conistone Lane. The level of the Wharfe in Kettlewell is forecast to rise until around 2am and peak at up to 2.75m, before starting to fall slowly through Monday morning. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers, and stay away from fast moving water. Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the forecast. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, Monday 2nd November, or as the situation changes.
