Flood Alert issued on 1 Feb 2018 17:14
River Ouse, River Don, Dutch River
This is a precautionary flood alert ahead of this evening’s high tide which will peak at around 7.30pm. This high tide will be accompanied by a surge, resulting in water levels higher than the naturally occurring astronomical tide. We do not however anticipate any immediate risk of flooding and are not currently expecting to be issuing flood warnings for this evening’s high tide. The Environment Agency continues to monitor the situation closely and this alert will be updated in due course.
