Heavy rain has fallen in the Willow Brook catchment causing Willow Brook to rise. Further rain is forecast tomorrow, Wednesday 27th November. Levels are expected to remain high for several days. Low lying areas near to the brook are already flooded and we expect properties to be affected. Low lying properties on Hall Yard close to the Willow Brook in Kings Cliffe are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on Wednesday 27th November, or before if the situation changes.

This is causing Willow Brook to rise and is forecast to continue to rise through the evening. Low lying areas near to the brook are already flooded and we now expect properties to be affected this evening. Low lying properties on Hall Yard close to the Willow Brook in Kings Cliffe are expected to be affected first. Further rain is forecast for today, and therefore river levels will remain high overnight. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water.
