River Nene
Heavy rain has fallen in the Nene catchment. This has caused the River Nene to rise and it will remain high over the next few days. Low lying areas are already flooded and we expect properties close to the River Nene and tributaries to be affected. Low lying properties in the Northampton Marina are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on Tuesday 26th November, or before if the situation changes.
