Therefore, flooding remains possible, especially in areas closest to the river in Kings Sutton. No further rainfall is forecast today (25/12/20) with further rainfall moving through late tomorrow. We expect river levels to continue dropping through today. Tributaries in the Kings Sutton area are currently backing up due to high levels in the River Cherwell and continue to pose a flood risk to property. We are closely monitoring the situation. Property flooding is still possible. River levels are high on the River Cherwell as a result of heavy rainfall and the risk of property flooding remains. River levels in this area are now falling and we do not forecast the situation to deteriorate much further, however we do expect water to be out of banks in many areas and water to be in fields. We are expecting a mostly dry day today (16/11/2019). We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
