Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels on the River Cole are high in Westmill Bridge area, upstream of Inglesham. River levels are rising at a slower rate following the drier weather today but are above bank full levels at Westmill Bridge. Therefore, flooding of Low lying roads and farmland will continue this evening and into the night. Elsewhere the River Cole and Dorcan Brook are in channel. No property flooding is expected. It is forecast to be mostly dry tonight and on Wednesday (11/03/20), with the chance of an isolated shower. We are closely monitoring the situation. Property flooding is not currently expected. River levels have risen on the River Cole as a result of rainfall overnight. Therefore, flooding of land nearest the river is possible within the next hour (09:00). Low lying roads and farmland could be affected this morning 10/03/20, especially in the downstream of Shrivenham area. No property flooding is expected. Further rainfall is forecast over the today, but should clear this evening. We are closely monitoring the situation. Therefore, flooding of footpaths, roads and low-lying land is expected to continue, especially in the Coleshill area on the River Cole. Levels on the Dorcan Brook do not pose a flood risk. The forecast is for a predominantly dry day today (01/03/20) with an occasional light shower. Heavier showers are expected overnight. Levels on the Dorcan Brook are now dropping and no longer pose a flood risk. The forecast is for a predominantly dry night interspersed with light showers.
