A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for Rockfield to Balintore. A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties along the Moray Firth coastline at Rockfield to Balintore including Hilton of Cadboll and Shandwick. Areas at risk of flooding in Balintore include Main Street, Ross Crescent, Sand Dune Walk and the harbour area. Wave overtopping of low lying areas is expected. High waves and flooding impacts are expected. The greatest risk is around the time of high tide on Sunday 11th February at 1pm. Remain vigilant and remember, it is your responsibility to take actions which help protect yourself and your property. Advice and information is also available through Floodline on 0345 9881188.
