River Brue
High river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning. Flooding is expected from the morning of 21 January 2026 from 5am. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Brue, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around roads in Catsham, Cowbridge and West Lydford and the B3151 Glastonbury to Meare road. Properties on Dyehouse Lane, Glastonbury at risk from the Glastonbury Millstream and overtopping forecast at Baltonsborough. Further heavy rain is forecast this morning and rivers may respond again. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Start acting on your flood plan if you have one . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
