The minor flooding of roads and low lying land near the River Parrett remains possible during Sunday, 01/12/2024. Roads at risk include the A356 and the B3165 at Chiselborough. The level on the River Isle at Donyatt and Ashford Mill remains relatively low. Occasional light rain and showers are forecast for Sunday and Monday. We are monitoring the rainfall and river levels closely, and are checking rivers for blockages. The river levels on the River Isle at Donyatt and Ashford Mill have also risen again but currently remain below levels of concern. Flooding of low lying land and roads is still possible and areas most at risk include the Norton-sub-Hambdon to Stratton road and the A356 and B3165 at Chiselborough. Further rainfall in the form of showers is expected for the rest of today and tomorrow and we expect river levels to remain high during this time. Flooding of low lying land and roads is still possible and areas most at risk include the Norton-sub-Hambdon to Stratton road and the A356 and B3165 at Chiselborough.
