Storm Alex will bring further persistent and heavy rain across the Llynfi and Ogmore catchments, today Saturday 3rd October. The slow moving nature of this rain is expected to give significant rainfall totals which will result in elevated river levels.
Further widespread and significant rain is expected overnight and into Sunday morning 4th October. Again this rain will be slow moving, and the risk of flooding will increase and river levels are then expected to reach Alert levels in your area.
Natural Resources Wales officers will monitor the river levels overnight and during Sunday 4th October, providing updates as needed.
