River levels on the Don remain high as a result of the recent persistent heavy rainfall. Although levels have begun to fall in the afternoon today, 09/11/19, they are still high and consequently, the risk of flooding to property and roads across Newton Farm remains.
Although no further significant rainfall is forecast on Saturday and Sunday, we expect river levels to remain high through the weekend into Monday 11/11/19, with the catchment near capacity, so this warning remains in force.
