River levels are still rising in response to heavy rainfall over night and early this morning. Flooding remains possible today, Wednesday 01/01/2025. Areas most at risk include River Porter Brook and its tributaries. Rainfall is expected to clear this morning, and levels will remain high before falling later. We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue Flood Warnings if necessary. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk, drive or cycle through flood water. This message will be updated by 19:00 on Wednesday, 01/01/2025, or as the situation changes.

Rising river levels this evening and overnight may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from midnight tonight, 31/12/2024. Areas most at risk include River Porter Brook and its tributaries. Further flooding is possible overnight as river levels will rise rapidly due to heavy rainfall. River levels are forecast to peak at Sheffield Oakbrook Road between 06:00 AM and 12:00 PM tomorrow, 01/01/2025. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. We will issue flood warning where required. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers which may be flooded. We will aim to update this message by 09:00 AM on 01/01/2025, or as the situation changes.

River levels have fallen following yesterday’s heavy and persistent rainfall. Further rain is expected today, Tuesday 1/10/24. Whilst rivers may respond to this, we are not expecting levels to rise significantly. We are closely monitoring the situation. Surface water may continue to affect low spots on roads. Please take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Areas most at risk are low-lying land and roads near rivers and the area around Endcliffe Park. Rising river levels throughout this evening, as a result of persistent rainfall, may lead to flooding. Levels are expected to peak between 7 and 8pm tonight, 30/09/2024. Flooding of roads and low lying land is possible. Surface Water flooding may be possible. Weather conditions are expected to improve overnight and into tomorrow morning, 01/10/2024, and no further significant rainfall is expected over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
