We expect flooding to affect properties and roads in the St Thomas areas. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers. Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. Consequently, flooding of property is possible today, Wednesday 03/01/2024 and tomorrow morning, Thursday 04/01/2024. Further showers are forecast over the next 12 hours and as such we expect river levels to remain high into Thursday morning, 04/01/2024. We are closely monitoring the situation.
