River Tame

River levels have risen at the Hopwas Bridge river gauge as a result of expected heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible to begin between 08:00 and 14:00 today, 07/01/25. We expect flooding to affect properties around Old Hall Drive, Church Road, Brickhouse Lane, The Garden, The Square and The Beck. No further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers and move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety. Have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents and call 999 if in immediate danger. This message will be updated by 15:00 on 07/01/25, or as the situation changes.
