River levels remain high at the Yoxall river gauge. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. No further rain is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Friday evening, 05/01/2024. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast and checking defences. River levels have risen at the Yoxall river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall over the past few days. Consequently, flooding of property is possible from 15:00 today, Wednesday 03/01/2024. Further rain showers are forecast over the next 12 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until tomorrow evening, Thursday 04/01/2024. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast and checking defences. Please activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers, have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents and call 999 if in immediate danger.
