River levels are high in response to recent rainfall. Areas most at risk are riverside areas in Homersfield, Needham Mill, Brockdish, Scole and Diss, including the A143 at Scole and Homersfield, and the A1066 at Diss. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate. The forecast is for some heavy rainfall this afternoon but no further significant rain forecast overnight or tomorrow. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation, and will update this message by 9am tomorrow.

This message has been issued because there may be some issues with surface water flooding and difficult driving conditions through today, Saturday 30th January 2021. River levels remain high in response to recent rainfall. Areas most at risk are riverside areas in Homersfield, Needham Mill, Brockdish, Scole and Diss, including the A143 at Scole and Homersfield, and the A1066 at Diss. The forecast is for some heavy rainfall this morning and into the afternoon Saturday 30 January, with no further significant rain forecast tomorrow. Take care on riverside footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation, and will update this message at 6pm today.

River levels are expected to continue to rise. Areas most at risk are riverside areas in Homersfield, Needham Mill, Brockdish, Scole and Diss, including the A143 at Scole and Homersfield, and the A1066 at Diss. We are not currently expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. The forecast is for some further rainfall this evening and overnight, before clearing into Thursday morning. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk.
