Property flooding is possible. River levels are high on the Cranleigh Waters as a result of recent heavy rainfall from Storm Dennis. Therefore, flooding of roads and farmland is expected and flooding of properties close to the river is possible today, 17/02/20, especially in the Bramley area. Light showers are forecast for the next 48 hours, and we expect river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident room is open and operations staff have been in the area clearing trash screens and checking defences. Please refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated this evening, 17/02/2020, or as the situation changes.

Property flooding is possible. River levels are high on the Cranleigh Waters as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of roads and farmland is expected and flooding of properties close to the river is possible later this evening 16/02/20, especially in the Bramley area. Light showers are forecast overnight and into tomorrow morning 17/02/2020, and we expect river levels to remain high overnight and tomorrow 17/02/2020. We are closely monitoring the situation.
