Therefore, flooding of low lying land, roads and property is expected to continue today 10/02/2024, especially in the areas closest to the River Wey around Elstead Mill. The forecast is for a mostly dry day with some patches of light rain. We expect river levels to remain high throughout today. Our staff have been in the area clearing trash screens. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. Avoid contact with flood water. The forecast is for further heavy showers this evening (09/02/2024) before a predominantly dry night and day tomorrow.
