Therefore, flooding of low lying property, roads and farmland is possible overnight, especially in the Elstead and Eashing areas. Peak levels will be similar to the flooding in December 2019. Light showers are forecast this evening 17/02/2020 and into tomorrow 18/02/2020 , and we expect river levels to remain high. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area checking defences. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and avoid contact with flood water. Therefore, flooding of property, roads and farmland is possible early tomorrow morning, 17/01/20. River levels peaked below flood warning threshold levels this morning before dropping, a second peak is expected early tomorrow morning (17/01/20) so the warning has been updated for tomorrow's forecast. Therefore, flooding of property is possible later today, 20/12/19. We expect flooding to affect the Elstead and Eashing area. Persistent and at times heavy rainfall is expected to continue this morning, and further showers are forecast this afternoon and overnight with the potential to be heavy at times. We expect river levels to remain high over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. We have staff in the area working to clear blockages.
