River Wey
Property flooding is expected. River levels remain high on the River Wey, as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of roads and farmland is expected, and flooding of properties closest to the river is expected to continue this evening, 18/02/2020 and into tomorrow, 19/02/2020, in the Byfleet area. We have received reports of isolated property flooding this morning, to properties closest to the river. This evening and overnight is forecast to be mainly dry. We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area clearing weed and trash screens. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses, and move family, pets and cars to safety. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 19/02/20, or as the situation changes.

River Wey
Property flooding is expected.
River levels are rising on the River Wey as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Therefore, flooding of roads and farmland is expected and flooding of properties closest to the river is expected this morning (18/02/2020), in the Byfleet area. Peak levels will be higher than the flooding in Feb 2014. We have received reports of isolated property flooding this morning to properties closest to the river.
Today is forecast to be mainly dry with the potential for heavy rain showers this afternoon. We expect river levels to remain high over the coming days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area clearing weed/trash screens.
